I'm a very active person and a big fan of merino wool for its performance for outdoor activities. Merino wool has great insulating and wicking properties and unlike synthetics, it doesn't hang onto body odor.I really like this crew-neck shirt from Thermowave Xtreme. The merino wool is excellent quality and very soft and its polyester lining adds an extra soft layer. This shirt has a generous weight and drapes nicely. It's an excellent layering piece that is very functional. This shirt also has a really unique geometric design that adds subtle visual interest. I'm really impressed with the quality of this shirt from Thermowave Xtreme.For reference, I am 5'5" tall 110lbs 30D with a straight body type and short torso with long limbs. I am typically a size 0 or XS in clothing and ordered this shirt in my usual XS. The fit is great and true-to-size with room for layering. One thing to note is that the neck band comes up high and fits snugly - more so than is depicted in the product descriptions. This isn't an issue for me and I find it comfortable.I'm really happy with this merino crew-neck shirt from Thermowave Xtreme and highly recommend it! I'll be getting a lot of wear out of this shirt for my outdoor adventures in the colder months.
