True to size and very light, but with super cushioning. The upper is all mesh so your feet stay cool. I hate when I have to take these off to dress up for work!I have purchased many pairs of Altra shoes in the past 4 years. These are by far the worst fitting by size ordered I received. They are extremely large not so much in length as overall. Standing in them I feel like there is so much extra material all over the shoe that my foot is floating around in them. I cannot say ordering down a asize will help as the length will be affected but if you have a “bulky” foot these may be right for you. I have an average size foot with a high arch and these feel like a pair of pants you wore before losing 20 or 30 pounds. Love Altras but not this showe.
