The footbed appeared soiled, and I could see the prints of toes. They appeared to have been previously worn, most probably indoors since the soles were pristine. I returned this product and have received a refund. (Sad, because I was trying to replace a great pair that I bought a few years ago!)Great fit and good looking!i've bought mephisto sandals for years because they had the best arch support and were comfortable and lasted. these were extremely hard and uncomfortable, unlike any mephisto i've ever had. must have changed manufacturers. sent them back and will not be buying that brand anymore.Shoes were fine, but definitely showed signs of having been worn a bit on the interior. Odd smell too...The real issue is Amazon threw the shoebox in a bag to ship. Shoe box was dented, and not new quality.Not happy ....I LOVE MEPHSTO SHOES THESE ALSO FITSo thrilled I could get these sandals. Have had many pair and wear them out. Love the grey color, like a taupe that goes with everything. Super comfy. Best thing I got on Mothers Day, super fast delivery!
